Google Sitelinks: Go Big or Go Home

If you’re a top ranking dealership, number one just got even sunnier. Thanks to the new Google sitelinks enhancement, ranking number one just went from desirable to downright cushy. If you’ve Googled your dealership lately, you may or may not have noticed a big change to the Google search engine page layout. Google’s algorithm is always a secret sauce, but dealers that are affected by this change, and take advantage of it, are going to enjoy unparalleled dominance. Here’s what’s happening:  Google just updated their sitelinks (the short blue hyperlinks that nest beneath a search result) so that top-ranking dealers have even more prominence. The number one search result can now contain a greater number of nested links-up to 12 links instead of the previous eight. This link increase means potentially much greater real estate for number one dealers. But, it gets ever better. This new layout also exposes corresponding content (meta tags, navigation ...
