I think it's just easier to have a flat percentage. If it takes you more than 30 seconds to ballpark how much you are making in your head by looking at a couple of numbers, then it's too complicated. Chargebacks shouldn't affect your percentage, just your bottom line. These are just my opinion, but I've been in F&I for 12 years and have had just about every pay plan thrown at me. Good luck!
