Dealership Loyalty Program

Grant Gooley
Anybody have experience or pro's/con's regarding Loyalty programs within the dealership?
Jon Lamb
Making loyal customers is harder today than it was just a few years ago. It's a combination of the internet expanding the reach of customers and the generation that's becoming buyers today. They've always had choices and the internet. Anything that can effectively keep customers coming back to the store is beneficial. They may be less loyal today than before but they're still the low hanging fruit.

Thanks for the insight Jon. Has anyone used a physical "Loyalty Card"?

We have looks at a few programs. Have not started any of them

We use a loyalty card. Gives discounts on service and parts, and customers acquire points that can be used towards down payments on new cars. They get an actual card and can track points and all that. They swipe the card, the whole nine yards. Loyalty Track is the name of the company if you want to look into it. People use it a lot in our shop.

I don't work at a car dealership, but Island Lincoln on Merritt Island has a unique Loyalty/Membership program which includes access to their gym, theater room, etc.
