3 vehicles, Engagement Ring Stolen from Dealership

As reported by KOCO, the owner of an Oklahoma City dealership is offering a $1,500 reward for a tip leading to the arrest of two people who broke into and stole from the dealership.

“They were able to come through here, through the back,” said Jesus Soto, owner of 2Guys Auto. “That’s when my first camera gets them.”

Surveillance video footage first captured the two men inside the small dealership around 11 P.M. on Sunday.

“They pick-locked the door, the main door to the office, and they pick-locked the gate to get in,” Soto said.

The thieves stole two safes and the keys to three vehicles from the auto lot: a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu, a 2014 VW Jetta, and a pickup truck that was found a block away from the dealership on Monday.

“I was in disbelief,” said Soto. He added that the thieves seemed “pretty organized” and that they seemed to know what they were doing.

The theft is costing the dealership over $25,000, including damage caused to other vehicles when the thieves made their getaway.

Soto said he hopes someone will recognize the two men, which he said got away with a dealer’s license plate and an engagement ring Soto planned to give to his girlfriend.
