September 7, 2017 0 Comments

This is your look at recent automaker recalls.

First off, per Yahoo, Ford has announced its recall of some 143,000 vehicles. Among the recalled vehicles are certain 2015-17 Ford Mustang, Explorer, Focus, Taurus, and F-Series pickups. Among the problems being addressed are issues with seat belts, airbags, seat welding and potential loss of power steering.

Next up, according to MLive, Fiat Chrysler is recalling 2017 Dodge Challengers and Chargers equipped with the ‘Hellcat’ engine. The concern on the part of FCA is that the hoses on the stoplight-stomping muscle cars will potentially come lose and spit oil onto the engine or windshield.

Finally, Volkswagen has announced the recall of 281,000 2009-2016 CC and Passat sedans and wagons due to concerns the vehicle fuel pumps will fail, causing engine stall.
