Body Found in Trunk at Dealership

Employees at a Maine Chevrolet dealership received a grisly surprise last week upon opening the trunk of a vehicle.

According to, on the afternoon of March 2, a body was found inside of the trunk of an undisclosed model year Chevy Malibu at Varney Chevrolet, in Pittsfield, Maine. As the story goes, the vehicle was abandoned at a local Wal-Mart and then towed to the dealership to be unlocked. At some point during the process of unlocking the vehicle, a mechanic discovered the body of 30-year old Jenna French in the trunk. Details are still coming as authorities are reportedly performed an autopsy on the deceased and have not released the cause of death.

A WMTW report indicated that there hasn’t been any report of foul play in the incident. The dealership where the deceased was found has not released a statement regarding the incident.
