Brazen Thieves Ram Fence, Steal 5 Vehicles

May 17, 2017 0 Comments

For today’s story, thieves undertake a brazen theft at a Wisconsin auto auction location. This crime left the business with missing and damaged vehicles.

At around 3:00 a.m. on Mother’s Day, thieves stole five vehicles from Manheim Auto Auction out of Racine County Wisconsin. Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the crooks stole two vehicles from Milwaukee and drove to Manheim Auto Auction. To gain access to the cars stored at the business, the thieves reportedly rammed the gate with one of the stolen cars, abandoned it, and then used one of the Manheim’s vehicles to smash part of a fence, before making off with five vehicles. Two of the stolen cars were recovered, while the other three, all 2014 or newer Mercedes-Benz vehicles, remain missing.

Reports indicate Manheim Auto Auction is now looking for information to help authorities track down the stolen vehicles. They have even indicated they will accept “anonymous tips.” What do you make of the string of thefts, including this most recent brazen one, in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area?
