GM expecting $1 billion more than initial estimate for Opel sale

Chuck Stevens, General Motor’s CFO, said on Monday that the automaker is now expecting $5.5 billion for their sale of Opel to PSA Group, up from the initial estimate of $4.5 billion. According to Stevens, the increase is due to “additional costs associated with the deal.”
