Ford Changes Fusion, $100k Wheel Theft

First off, Ford is making at change to its Fusion sedan. A USATODAY report indicated that the automaker is going to change the vehicle from a sedan to something else entirely, such as and SUV, Wagon or Crossover. The reason given for the change is dips in sedan sales in favor of more durable vehicles.

Next up, a Tesla employee, who is reportedly in a legal dispute with the automaker and CEO Elon Musk, has filed a whistleblower complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Musk reportedly fired the former employee amidst allegations that he hacked company computer systems and may have leaked information to news outlets.

Finally, per KXXV, near the end of June, at least $100,000 worth of tires and wheels were stolen from the lot of Apple Sport Ford out of Marlin, Texas. The theft reportedly impacted some 30 vehicles, some of which were discovered up on blocks and even damaged following the crime.
