Ford Dealership Checking Account Info Stolen

For today’s story thieves managed to get a hold of dealership financial information by stealing checks.

According to a Henry Herald report, five unidentified individuals are suspected of stealing money from Legacy Ford out of McDonough, GA. As the story goes, the thieves got a hold of a check made out to a dealership vendor. Next, the crooks the used dealership checking account information from the stolen check to duplicate it and managed to successfully deposit an undisclosed amount of money to multiple accounts between August and September of 2017.

The dealership hasn’t provided commentary on the ongoing investigation. Police are looking for help to track down the unknown suspects.
