Employee Crashes Truck Into Showroom, Damages 8 Cars

An employee accident on a dealership lot caused significant damage to company inventory and real estate.

According to the Maryland Independent, on the morning on March 6, an unidentified employee of Waldorf Ford, in Waldorf, Maryland, got into an accident on the dealership lot. As the story goes, the staffer was moving a red Ford Super Duty pickup truck when the employee accidentally backed the truck into the dealership showroom and then into another truck on the lot, damaging a total of eight dealership vehicles as well as the pickup truck the employee was driving.

The employee wasn’t hurt in the incident, and it’s unknown exactly what happened. A message about the situation on the Waldorf Ford Facebook page reads, “We had an unfortunate accident today, and sincerely appreciate your patience while we work to clean up and make repairs to our facility. We’re grateful that no one was injured during the accident and hope to have the damage repaired as soon as possible.”
