From Test Drive Theft to 140mph Chase

First off, per WDRB, Marty Clark, 30 took a Chrysler 200 on a test drive from an unidentified Indianapolis, Indiana dealership and didn’t return. Police reportedly found Clark in the car at a nearby gas station. Clark allegedly didn’t stop for police at the gas station, but rather took off, leading them on a high speed chase reaching speeds of over 140 miles per hour before a box truck helped slow down the vehicle so that Clark could be apprehended.

According to a new study by MaritzCX, social media reviews are not to be ignored by dealers. Among the findings of the study from a company press release were that 56% of the 13300 participants in the study checked out social media reviews during the car shopping process. It’s also worth noting that 38 percent of respondents indicated social media reviews did have an impact of which dealership they visited.
