June 7, 2018 0 Comments

Today the auto industry in Canada is on the rise, At least for Honda it is, and jeep is rolling out a bunch of new initiatives.

Starting in 2019 Jeep will offer a subscription program to its customers.
The program created by parent company “Fiat Chrysler Automobiles” is called “Jeep Wave”. Customers will have access to variety of cars from Jeep and FCA for a monthly fee.
The car options they choose from will be in a “good, better, best” condition depending on which monthly fee they choose to pay.

The subscription model is something many dealers and OEM’s are trying out. Whether or not it’s just a trend is to be determined.

And by 2022 Jeep will roll out four new all-electric vehicle options. Two of the options will be their Renegade SUV and the iconic Jeep Wrangler. On the other end of the spectrum if electric cars aren’t your thing, the Jeep Wrangler will also come in a diesel option for the first time ever next year.

In Canadian automotive news, Honda had a killer month of may.

Honda sales in Canada are up 3.4 percent from last year.
They sold just over 21,600 cars. A significant portion of the sales, 5,500, came from the Honda CRV.
