PA dealership charges for regulatory violations

April 12, 2018 0 Comments

A Pennsylvania dealership is facing “thousands of charges” for selling vehicles without proper titles, temporary registration permits and cards, as well as other regulatory violations, according to a story from Observer-Reporter

On April 5, police filed a criminal complaint on April 5 against C. Harper Inc. before District Judge Charles Christner.

Police said that the alleged violations were discovered during a regulatory audit at the dealership on March 8.

One of the charges, police said, is grounds for disciplinary proceedings against the dealership

Casey Harper, the owner of the dealership, said on Friday he was “unaware” of the charges leveled against the dealership.

As of Friday, the criminal complaint and affidavit were not immediately available due to a software glitch which prevented it from being entered entirely into record, said a court official.
