Pros: I feel like I have a master's degree in VinSolutions. I have been an admin user for 6 years and I have really become one with the software. It is a massive utility if you need it to be. I get my ideas going and come up with new strategies in VinSolutions every day. It is a simple follow up process and database if you need be. Not a lot of bugs. Whenever I think it's lacking a feature, they are in the process of implementing it. Customer service is always available and helpful, hardly ever leaves me with "No." for an answer. Comprehensive package is really a great value - covers marketing, campaigns, customer retention, internet lead follow up, follow up, desking, service leads, reporting, inventory management and everything. The VinCamera is brilliant and the most efficient and simple piece of technology I have seen in the industry. They provide free training for the entire dealership at introduction and at major updates or when your staff needs help. It truly helps me stay in touch with all my sales reps with all of their customers to stay on top of follow up. Mobile App has improved leaps & bounds over the years with impressive features.
Cons: Wish you could add inventory from mobile app by scanning VIN and then add multiple photos (a la vAuto) - But I will say the VinCamera is still really fast and easy for inventory managers.
Pros: This is the best ILM I have used in 15 years of managing Internet Sales. I've used many others and they all have flaws. I really have nothing but good things to say about Vin.
Cons: Email templates could use some design improvements. Very basic.
Pros: Allows you to access Vinsolutions via your mobile.
Cons: Extremely limited functionality.
Pros: Helping sales people stay in contact with customers and gaining repeat business.
Cons: Less task notifications, can sometimes be overwhelming when you have an established customer base.
Pros: Vin is excellent in so many areas that it is crazy!
Cons: They do have some issues with their email platform (motosnap) not getting through SPAM filters.
Pros: Great lead management tool. Very reliable.
Cons: many issues in fixed ops. won't integrate with dms on appointments
Cons: Customers in sales people's names are not brought forward when a dealership signs up with you & customers are randomly taken out of sales people's names. I have lost most of my customer base.
Pros: Very easy to work and maintain.
Cons: Duplicate leads are an issue. They haven't gotten this issue fixed yet.
