Opioid addiction is hitting our industry HARD...why are we just learning about it?
I recently came across an article in Automotive News that made me do a double take as I was confused at the correlation between this GREAT industry and an opioid fixation. What in the world could the two have to do with each other? Apparently a lot.
Amongst the big three alone there is a cry for help that rang with the bailouts and workers losing millions of pension money. Que the quick fix of healing...drugs. This is such a huge problem that there are actual committees that hold meetings for past, current and reformed users. This blew my mind! How is this okay and how can we help change the dynamics within this community?
