Pros: I cancelled the OEM provided Edmunds product almost 2 years ago because their product did not provide a written opt-in and switched to Textshield because it required a written opt-in for both incoming and outgoing texts. Textshield also sends the entire chat transcript to our CRM as 1 note, instead of trying to piece together texts from multiple notes. Our Body Shop saw the program and we added that department and it is now their #1 communication method surpassing phone calls. Lastly, Textshield allows us to own our data. Some other providers have fine print which allows them to own customers information so traffic dealers generate to their own websites is snatched up by some texting programs and these other companies have the right to market to your customers (I found that in the fine print). TextShield has been, and will be for the foreseeable future, our ONLY texting solution.
Pros: We never worry about their shield. Easy to use and all information is tracked.
Pros: I like this a lot. It works really well.
Pros: 100% TCPA compliant, no worries there. If we receive a text from the VDP page, the inventory comes with the text so we know what the customer is looking at before we text back. Easily transfer the text chat between dealer staff. sends the entire transcript of conversation to our CRM so you get 1 note with the entire conversation
Cons: needs a better interface. Interface works fine but would like more :)
