Who Has the Best Idea of the Year? #DSES

The sixth annual DrivingSales Executive Summit will once again bring together the most progressive dealers in North America, along with world-renowned speakers like Rand Fishkin, Brian Solis, and Mike Hudson — all focused on pushing the auto industry’s innovation boundaries and translating the latest trends and business realities into solid 2014 action plans for every dealership department.  You’ve registered already, right?! Early Bird pricing (Dealer-$899) ends on August 1st at midnight PST.

#DSES is fast approaching and we're on the hunt for the most original and creative ideas that are driving results in dealerships across the country and Canada. The spirit of the DrivingSales Best Idea Contest, which began in 2010, is to recognize and award the most innovative dealership strategies of 2014.

All dealership employees are invited to apply. Applications are reviewed by a dealer panel, which selects five finalists to be invited onstage at DSES to present their ‘Best Idea’ in competition for over $10,000 in cash and prizes and the award for 2014’s Best Idea. There is no charge to apply. The application deadline for the DSES Dealer Best Idea Award is midnight PST, July 25, 2014, so hurry. Time is running out!

Last year Robert Karbaum was crowned the winner with his "Appointment Board Pass" idea, which increased the show ratio for sales appointments by 68% across all the stores in his group. Karbaum's idea resonated with judges because it was original, forward thinking and ultimately portrayed how a strategy could sell more cars. Dealers obviously recognized the truly progressive nature of his concept, which is why they voted for him.

We're anxious to recognize five finalists and crown a winner for this year's Best Idea Contest for 2014 at DSES. So, what are you waiting for? What innovative strategy has allowed you to exceed your goals in your store? Apply today!
