Florian Zettelmeyer to Keynote DSES - Learn Why It’s Essential For Dealers To Know the Data Analytics Of Their Dealership

Many executives think big data and analytics is best left to vendors and specialists in their organization, but doing so can lead to misinterpretations and mistaken decisions. Analytics is a leadership responsibility, and executives armed with a working knowledge of data science will be more effective leaders. Professor Florian Zettelmeyer - Director, Program on Data Analytics at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University will explain why it’s essential for smart executives to learn and know the data analytics of their dealership at the DrivingSales Executive Summit (DSES) Oct. 12-14th at the Bellagio, Las Vegas.

Dealers can expect to learn:

  • Avoid pitfalls and common mistakes often made by today’s business executives when using data to make big decisions
  • Who should handle your data, you or your vendor? The pros and cons of this argument will be presented at a very high level based on the latest business research
  • What data science best practices you need to be aware of in 2015 to make the most educated executive decisions

FlorianProfessor Zettelmeyer, who got his Ph.D in Marketing from MIT, specializes in evaluating the effects of information technology on the product market behavior of firms. He has led numerous research projects on the effect of the Internet on the auto industry. Zettelmeyer teaches the MBA class “Information and Technology-based Marketing” at Kellogg School of Management, one of the highest rated marketing programs in the world. He's a leading expert on marketing and the impact of the symbiosis of data and technology on business. Zettelmeyer has studied the impact of the Internet on automotive retailing and will deliver important data analytics information for dealers to know for a successful 2015.

DSES is 100% dealer-driven and has a vendor-neutral policy. There is no vendor influence on presentation selection with an adherence to a strict dealer-to-vendor ratio and is the only automotive conference where dealers decide the agenda, not the vendor sponsors. This translates into the highest level of learning for the dealer attendees versus other events where workshops are little more than glorified sales pitches.

With more outside-of-the-industry, world renowned speakers than any other automotive conference with new innovative ideas and cutting-edge marketing strategies than ever before. Expanded breakout sessions dedicated to advanced search, social, mobile, data analytics, dealership operations and more! The only conference that doesn't sell speaking spots to the vendors. DSES always has, and always will be driven by the most progressive dealers in the industry!

DSES 2014 is going to be bigger and better than ever before! Where will you be Oct. 12-14? Register today! Seating is extremely limit!

Glad to see Florian is making a return trip. I really enjoyed his presentation when he was here a couple of years ago.
