SCI MarketView Wins the Presidents Club Most Valuable Insight Competition

 

This year's Most Valuable Insight competition was the most competitve yet. We received more applications than ever before. With almost 30 applications, our panel of highly progressive Owners/DPs and GMs anonmously voted on each application on the following criteria:

  • Insight usefulness & applicability to a dealership / group
  • Topic relevancy to a dealer principal or GM
  • Magnitude of results or impact of the insight to a dealership/group
  • Supporting proof / verification of validity of results
  • Insight backed by objective facts, data and/or research
  • Insight originality

 

After adding up the scores of the votes, four finalists were selected to present at Presidents Club:

  • “Fine Tune Your Fixed Ops Phone Skills: Six keys to successful service appointment setting,” presented by CallSource
  • “The Importance of Quality Response,” presented by SCI MarketView
  • “The Next Chapter of Car Buying: Consumer preference will drive radical change in dealership process,”presented by Cox Automotive
  • “How Pricing Drives New Vehicle Buyer Preference And Profitability,” presented by vAuto

 

Each finalist had 9 minutes to present followed by 4 minutes of Q&A by a panel of three dealers on stage who voted on the presentation. There were also another 20 dealers in the audience who voted on the presentations.

“The Importance of Quality Response,” presented by SCI MarketView came out on top.

For their insight, SCI MarketView analyzed two thousand auto shopper responses to demonstrate how dealers can potentially quadruple their chances of bringing shoppers into the showroom and close deals. The presentation demonstrated that it is not just the speed of the initial response that determines effectiveness, but also quality: responses that contain personalized elements, with a high correlation to the consumer’s initial interest, increase the chances of success.

As the winner of the Most Valuable Insight competition, SCI MarketView will have the opportunity to present the data in much greater detail on the main stage at the 2015 DrivingSales Executive Summit in October 18-20 in Las Vegas.  

We want to thank all the Owners/DPs and GMs along with our sponsors for attending Presidents Club in New York City last week. There is no other event in the industry that brings so many Owners/DPs and GMs all together in the same room to study and collaboratively navigate the current business challenges and opportunities of automotive retail. It was a power house event and we thank all those for attending.
