What is everyone's thoughts on cashiers in service and parts. My stance is not to have one for the benefit of CSI through active delivery and someone who knew what happened to your vehicle can go through any questions.

I agree it is better for your advisor to handle the entire process for the reasons you stated BUT, I have to question is there another way to do it because I do see at times where a customer may have a little longer wait because their advisor is on the phone or talking with another customer especially at the pick up rush time. Obviously team work from the other advisors and support team is a must. I would be encouraged to hear everyone else opinion.
