F&I How To

Katherine Farnham

I've been working in the car industry for about two years, I worked on the Sales Floor for a year and then took over a BDC Manager position which I've also done for a year. I like being the BDC Manager where I currently am, but would in the future like to move to an F&I Manager position and have considered taking classes at the Automotive Dealership Institute. The dealership requires because I have Manager's access to everything to take the system courses in how to desk deals and run the F&I software along with making receipts, temp tags, service software, and accounting. Does anyone have any advice on the best way to go about moving to F&I in the future, or about the ADI and whether or not that would be a good investment? I would be paying out of my own personal resources. Any and all advice appreciated!
