Giving Shop Credit for Referrals

A lot of dealerships give out bird dogs to customers for selling referrals. We were thinking about sending a mailer out to customers right after they purchase a vehicle offering a $50 shop credit for referrals. Does anyone know if there's anything illegal about doing this? Also, any creative ideas for bird dogs and getting referrals will be helpful too!

Steve, Referral programs are a great way to instantly bring in immediate sales. It's the best form of social media. I posted this blog a couple of weeks ago.
