Keyword Research - What tools do you use?

In doing keyword research for marketing properties for dealerships and vendor marketing properties do you have a favorite tool that you use? I have a few different ones that I have used in the past and a few that I am fond of. First Paul, you may want to confirm whether or not you are looking for PPC keywords or Organic keywords, or trend keywords (up and comers). Each have different applications. Are you shooting for cheap CPC or long tails for organic, or are you looking for some hot trends in order to put together a digg article that will get dugg. There are several "paid" services that we subscribe to as well, but a wise man once said that a good SEO never reveals his secrets or his keywords. ;-) It also depends on your goal- using a Pay per click tool to find organic keywords is not neccessarily the best option but we have had some success using organic-based keyword tools to find good long tails for PPC that we can exact match for low cost per
