Service or Sales?

Mike Elliott
I'm not a dealer but wanted to weigh in with my opinion as a customer of my local Dealership. The Service manager and his crew are exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly people. They always meet or exceed what I'm expecting and their communication skills are exceptional. This is extremely important to me as an ongoing customer. Locally, I recommend them to people I meet, and I know I won't be embarrassed later by someone telling me they had a bad experience there. I only recommend a business if I TRUST them. They sell multiple brands and I know whatever I purchase, I'll get good advice and service from that part of the dealership for the life of the vehicle.

I think that what you need is a way to convert the traffic that you bring to your web site. One of the ways to do it online is by using solutions that allow you to engage visitors in person when they need help. You basically be bring the dealership to the client. You can learn more about that by going to a web site by the name www.liveautoexpert.com

Chris, Some industry stats: If you customer buys a car and services with you only during warranty 36% chance they repurchase from you. If they NEVER do service with you 11% chance they buy their next car from you. If they do service with you throughout their ownership experience 87% chance they buy their next car from you. Based on that data seems like your thinking on the right track!

Thank you all for the input.
