Wholesale Parts: Sales vs GP%

With the wholesale parts business becoming increasingly more competitive with online wholesalers, parts bridge programs to compete with aftermarket - I am curious how many parts departments have chosen to just lose customers that aren't grossing enough or don't feel that dealing with these parts bridge programs is worth the business. Along with that, what other factors (return rates, distance) may influence when the decision is made that it's not worth doing business with certain customers? Thanks
