Community Involvement Brainstorm

Ron Henson
What are some of the ways that your dealership stays connected to the community through service or sponsorship?
Lauren Moses
For us, bar-b-que dinners are a big thing around here. Any time there is someone in need, a church fundraiser, anything, they sale plate lunches. Our owner always buys around 15 or so for the employees here. It may not seem like much but everyone knows where they can always sell a few. We really don't have a lot of other sponsorships or anything.
Shannon Hammons
Lauren, We do that as well. I guess it is a small town thing. We usually will do about 40-100 plates depending on what day it is. We also sponsor all of the local teams and events around the community. Christmas time we adopt families and also give toys to dhr for kids that are removed from their homes.

We are involved with a lot of community events. This year we have been involved with quite a few 5k,10k and longer events

Last dealership I was at, we sponsered golf outings, little league baseball, local semi pro football team, bbq for the troops, test drives for breast cancer, toys for tots etc. Loved all of our sponserships. Hoping to do more of that at my current dealership.
Lauren Moses
Yeah, we help sponsor all the local golf tournaments. We offer prizes for closets to the pin on a certain hole, A hole in one car giveaway, and then one of the prizes for winning. Plus Buick's Hole in One Gift cards.
