Illegal Plate Frames

Steve Devereaux
I live in PA and I know that we have laws that almost don't even allow plate frames. The law is that if the plate frame covers "Pennsylvania" at the top or the dumb website "visitpa.com" at the bottom at all, then you can get pulled over and given a ticket for $25-150. This law means that the only plate frame that is "legal" is the thin ones. Regardless of this law, just about every car you see on the road has a dealer plate that covers portions of either the website or the Pennsylvania. Our dealership has always used the "legal" plate frames, so here's my question: To anyone from states with similar laws, has anyone had any issues with customers complaining that they got pulled over because of an "illegal" plate frame? Please share any experiences you have. Thanks!

ME EITHER, PA SOUNDS A LITTLE TO PROUD OF THEIR NAME & WEBSITE, THEY PROLLY HAVE A FEW MORE IMPORTANT LAWS TO WORRY BOUT OTHER THAN THIS NONSENSE!
