Internal or External Customers First?

Lauren Moses
Who do you take care of first your Internal or External Customers? Why? Are your Internal customers treated the same, better, or worse than your External customer?
Chris K Leslie
What do you mean?
Lauren Moses
Internal Customers are people that are employed at the same place you are. So if you are an F&I manager then your internal customers would be the salesmen and anyone that has to come to you for something that is business related. Internal customers can be anyone who has to come to you for something. External meaning your regular customers that are not employed by your dealership.
Shannon Hammons
External first. They are your customer. Internal is an employee and should know that the customer comes first.
Lauren Moses
@ Shannon, even if your internal customer has purchased from you? Just curious since Automotive is such a new world for me. I'm always so used to internal first since if you can't keep your internal happy how can you keep your external. Curiosity killed the Cat?

That internal person is still a customer
