How many dealerships out there have a vision statement, philosophy, or Values written down and known by more than 1 person? We do and have a nice laminated card that we give to every employee and ask them to carry it and read it from time to time. We will walk around and if you have it we will spiff them for it, even more if they can tell us what is on it. We are getting back to the basics and looking at it and reading as a group everyday and it is refocusing us on our culture of taking care of the people. What are other's doing to keep our employee's engaged?

Steve - Great start! By having your employees "buy in" and understand the dealerships' goals will help the entire team stay engaged for the common goal!! Your timing is perfect to get back to the basics, "you fix your roof when it is sunny" is something that has stuck with me and applies here, get your team focused to attack the fall/winter months!!

We have a company mission statement. We recently rolled it out to our 1,000+ employees via our new training center to get everyone on the same page. Like Steve mentioned, every one was given a little tri-fold card to carry with them and are rewarded if they are asked if they have it on them and they do.
