CRM Work-flow Disruption

Most all of us have work-flows integrated into the CRM. Where we spend a great deal of time managing them - has anyone else's CRM work-flows been disrupted? We have had a lot more texting vs. phone calls as of late. And while our CRM enables to remove irrelevant tasks, many CRM's are rigid. 

How are you handling the shift in communication?

I've been a lot more open to individuals setting up their own follow ups. It has helped a lot with tasks that were being skipped because they didnt make sense. I wish there were ways to set up auto texts in the crm though.

There's going to have to be a lot of clean up done I would imagine. Will the systems end up getting bogged down if these tasks aren't being removed? I know that they're just being skipped by a lot of salespeople acting as BDC.

Using click 2 call certainly helps to quickly see if people are doing the things they say they are doing.

@Chris- Yes, it does! Getting the salespeople to use click to call is sometimes a struggle on its own.
