A lot of it depends on how you are set up.  Do you have a vendor like Conversica helping?  Or, is it just you, or a BDC or a sales staff?

Are you asking about engaged leads or no-contact follow up?

Our CRM has a new lead/active status follow up campaign on auto as well as a lost follow up schedule for emails.  Usually goes out 90 days.  Your CRM vendor/contact should be able to assist you with this.  It can be scheduled for the sales staff/BDC staff to manually do by notification or it can be auto emails that are set up like for your GM email as an example.

I really enjoyed Steve Roessler's breakout at DSES.  In my mind, all of your content should be put through an "engagement" filter.  We're sending too much stuff out just to send something.
