While I am extremely pleased with my new CRM, if I could wave a magic wand I would create a CRM that is 100% customizable (using the vendor's platform), as well as a DMS that updates in real time transferring the data seamlessly into the CRM. Along with the ability to create custom reporting. No longer do the canned reports work and/or make sense; better yet, a more sophisticated report that views the lead attribution, and reports trends in buying patterns. For example, if the CRM notices a trend in conversion off of a third party site - after they first converted off the website - it would create a meaningful report; such as, the customer mostly clicks "get more info" on the dealer website, as for the third party site, it is "get sale price." (that is just an example, but it could have a major impact on the way we brand/market the vehicles).
