What are your manufacturer's incentives for answering leads

Sean Locklear
I know that GM has a SFE bonus and that Nissan will give you a discount on OEM leads if you answer within 15 minutes. I wanted to see if anyone could fill me in on incentives dealerships have for answering leads.

I would be curious to learn more about this as well!

We work with a few different manufactures and here is what I see from them. VW- will not penalize you directly but they will resell the lead to other stores after 1hr and affect coat if times are bad for a certain on going time frame. Nissan/infinti- your OEM 3rd party lead will vary in cost from 18-21 dollars depending on response time under 1hr. Most others we work with: honda, acura and audi really don't have hard and fast rules or at least they don't care enough to hammer their dealers about them that I hear dealers complain about whatever does exist with regards to rules. Hope it helps Thanks Sean

The incentive of doing a good job is they don't yell at you. That's about it :S

We lose them to another dealer if not responded to within 2 hours. We strongly enforce the 15 minute rule at the dealership

Nothing tied to Chevy anymore on leads.
