This is a *solid* question, Chris! 

For us, instead of focusing on the same set, show, sold - we are focusing heavily on the bottom line. This pandemic has also shed more light on the fact that many of the reports we look at (as I have been arguing till blue in the face) do not paint the entire picture. 

At the end of the day, it is about the end result. How you get to the end result is entirely circumstantial. 

The other thing is that you cannot compare YOY reporting as it doesn't make sense. Instead, we are focusing on re-structuring marketing campaigns, and trying to make the most of what we are spending.

Along with marketing metrics, how will the sales metrics evolve?

I think that sales compensation will have to be adjusted, at least temporarily. Adjustments will need to be made numerous times before the right metrics are set in place.
