Do You Give The Price On The Phone?

Inspired by a heated discussion I saw online - it's an ongoing debate: When a customer call your store asking for the price of a vehicle, do you give it to them? What do you do - and most importantly, why are you doing it this way?

Bottom line - if they ask, you must...period. That said you need to follow that up with - "mr. / ms. Customer not only are we willing to sell you the car for $xxxxxx but we get all of our clients the best rates for financing, the best terms for your budget & the highest value for your trade in, in fact we'll buy your car even if you don't buy ours. To do this I need some infomation, this works best when you visit the store. I have a customer service time slot this afternoon will that work for you?" You must make the purchase about more than the price. Tis is just one part of doing that.
