Google is pulling the curtain back on third-party vendors

Frank J Lopes
What do you think this will do to the dealer community?

I think this is really great news to dealers. Many PPC vendors don't disclose their fees and they'll even bundle services together so its' impossible to tell what exactly they are paying for management of the PPC campaign. You should know what you are paying for. If your PPC vendor doesn't disclose their fees, something is wrong. Also, since most PPC vendors pay for multiple networks, their Adwords rate could be lower and they can gouge you by charging an extra high percentage for the other networks. I don't know if anyone is doing that but that's something to watch out for.
Ed Steenman Hi, I just published an article here on driving sales that has some detailed information on this. it's under "blogs" thank you for starting this topic here and I look forward to hearing what folks have to say.

I think its going to push some vendors out of business. There are a lot vendors that just jump from one client to another just wanting the 35-40% fees without delivering results. Smaller businesses are usually at a disadvantage when it comes to internet marketing because they don't have the resources on the payroll that can call the bluff on these vendors.
