The biggest challenge for dealers is the shift to pricing products rather than selling price. The time it takes to get each customer to pay a different price for a new car, trade, financing and aftermarket products limits customer satisfaction and dealer profitability. The good news the move to online sales will dramatically increase efficiency; salesperson productivity will rise and turnover decline while throughput, service retention, referrals and repurchase loyalty increase from a contemporary online purchase experience like the enjoy with everything else they buy.
