Using Pre-roll To Target Hispanics

I am trying to develop a digital marketing strategy to get into Hispanic market and I'd like to use pre-roll. The problem I'm running into is how do I serve up Spanish pre-roll ads to Hispanics and serve English only ads to everyone else? I thought that maybe using browser settings would be the best way but I'm told my reach would be too limited to be successful. Does anyone have any ideas on what to target other browser settings?

Hi Virginia - Not sure how to accomplish your request through GDN but I've helped several dealerships setup campaigns focused on targeting Hispanic populations with spanish pre-roll ads by first segmenting spanish as the primary language. Then we segmented by in-market for a new or used vehicle within the last 30 days, age group, and household income. Any further than that in several markets (even one as big as Phoenix, AZ) and the reach was too limited. The pre-roll company I used was Q1 Media out of Austin, TX. They primarily use Oracle as their data source. They've got some pretty cool ad tech for pre-roll and display. This is a great idea.....I do believe you could target certain geographical areas as well
