What matters the most with text messaging?

I work with sales, service, BDC, IT, and/or marketing departments depending on the rooftop in providing our texting solution. 

Obviously every dealership varies in their individual needs, department needs, and overall rooftop needs. If you could you list the top 3-5 factors that is most important to you in texting, what would those be? Please clarify you role and department, if possible.

transcripts(being able to monitor)

compliance

accountabilty(making sure that the texts are answered quickly in a quality way)

 

  1. MMS capability
  2. Integration with the CRM
  3. Ease of list segmentation to execute SMS marketing campaigns

In terms of integration with the CRM - do many of them have texting already set up?

@Shawn: Yes, many CRMs already have texting integrated in their software. The reporting on texting isn't great though.
