changing prices

Mark Rask

General motors changes rebates several times a you get negative comments from customers about tyhis

Chris K Leslie

Absolutely, Its really annoying how they are doing that. Makes it harder to market.

Bart Wilson

I seems like this would really impact transparency.  It's hard to price vehicles consistently when the rebates are changing so much.

Are these changes global or are they specific, like dealer cash, stair step, or military rebates that only certain people qualify for?

Derrick Woolfson

It makes it that much harder to manage your site, too. Especially since it could take a day or so to hear back from your OEM's compliance board.

Marc @ Autobahn Academy

We did an extensive field study where we understood changing prices as quickly as the OEM didn't affect conversion. We use a different approach instead when working with dealers, contributes to 2 X +++ conversion for new cars.
