In a recent post on Mashable, an argument is made against car ownership.  It's titled, "No one should ever buy a car again.  Here's why."

What are your thoughts?  Have we hit the breaking point where car ownership is too expensive?

I dunno man, All i know is that I wish subscriptions would hurry up and take off. I would rather pay $500/mo and drive whatever I feel like than having to worry about making payments on a depreciating asset.

I like the idea of pay per use. As someone who doesn't drive very often, this would save me money!
