Vehicle descriptions - yes, no or maybe?

Marc Wagner
Part of my pay plan is based on the number of kept appointments I set. Just wanted to get that out there because it has some relevance. We do a great job of having multiple pictures and recently I started to try and put some detailed and descriptive sellers notes in for our vehicles, my goal was to aim for 75% to 80% with notes. I have been at it for a couple of months now and I'm not sure if its coincidence or not but it seems I have been getting fewer inquiries on the vehicles but I'm noticing more Internet related "walk in" traffic. Maybe selfishly, I'm concerned because less calls/emails = less appointments and its affecting my pay! Has anyone else ever experienced a lack in contacts due to having vehicle descriptions that are too good (compared to your local market) but still doing well on the sales side? Any suggestions to keep people calling and emailing even if you are using good sellers notes? One suggestion that I've had made is to put sellers notes on only vehicles we have priced b
