What is Your Monthly Sales Goals Per Sales Consultant?

Just curious, what are your monthly sales goals per consultant for new car sales?

We don't have any mandated rules for salespeople. 50% do about 12-20 units. 30% do 20-30 units, and 20% do 30-50 ... regularly.

Wow, that is a lot of new units!! In our one store, it was usually 12-16 new units, which always helped them hit their tiered bonuses.

We bump the % of gross at 11 units but I always base my sales people sales goals on the 90 day rolling average and put a 17% bump above that.  So with a 10 car rolling average I will put the goal at 11-12 units also break out how many opportunities they need based on closing percentage, write up percentage etc....

That's awesome, Lance - if they hit above their 90-day average it gives them a chance to move forward vs. focusing on a number they haven't otherwise previously achieved. This also gives them a reason to push harder.
