Market driven data is not the end/all be all for appraising!

Sean Kelley

Hey guys! As I train up younger used car managers with all these new amazing tools regarding used car appraisals, one thing I notice is they spend more time looking at the market driven data on the computer screen than they do even looking at the car!

I believe market driven data is a useful tool but when it comes to appraisals common sense is just as important! Here are 7 other things to consider when appraising a car that have nothing to do with market data.

What do you think? Is market data equally important, less important, or more important than common sense when it comes to used car appraising?
