I think they want to know the true trade-in value of their vehicle, which is (as you know) an issue because until we see the car, we do not know its true value. That said, (as Mark mentioned) it also needs to be easy to use. AutoTrader TIM Market Places tool was a project! With more than 3-4 plus pages to complete. I think if anything, we need to be more to the point, and honest about how the process works. In many cases, too, the customer often neglects to mention the balding tires, dents, dings, etc.
