A new Guinness World Record has been set by the 2017 Chevrolet Silverado HD in September this year. It has set the record for the World’s Largest Flag Pulled by a Moving Vehicle at Texas Motor Speedway by towing a 3,186-square foot American flag for 100 meters, without touching it to the ground.

The event took place at Texas Motor Speedway by towing a 3.186 sq. foot American Flag for 100 meters, without touching it to the ground. The Silverado has successfully faced the challenge by completing four laps around the 1.5mile track.

This outrageous truck has great features like new 6.6L Duramax V-8 engine, which offers 445 horsepower and a beastly 910 lb.-ft. of torque. It is said to be far more powerful and responsive compared to previous generations of Chevrolet’s turbo diesel engine. The engine is claimed to accelerate to 60 mph within 7.1 seconds without giving any load to the 2500HD Crew Cab 4WD. In addition, the 2017 Silverado 2500 HD accelerates from 50 to 70 mph in 10.6 seconds while towing 10,000 pounds, which is 1.5 seconds faster than the previous other models.
