Developing a Career Path will help you retain your staff. When it is difficult for an employee to see the next phase of their career they will quickly look elsewhere for a new job. Provide your employees with a Career Path to help with retention. Each job role needs to be broken down into multiple levels. Start at an entry like a trainee and scale the same job into a jr position, product specialist, and eventually senior product specialist position. Determine ways for employees to level up based upon habits, quotas, training, and time with the organization. It will be a little different for each department and each dealership, but having multiple levels allows employees to see the potential they can have in your dealership.
