Pros: Listening to stuff that is common sense so you can eat up some downtime while you are working

Cons: The fact that they report a “passing percentage score” to your employer is asinine. Most companies that use jvtn pay you based on completion of the training course. The fact that having to take certain tests more then once lowers your score and in turn makes you not able to get paid just shows that joe verde doesn’t care about you succeeding in your career. They’re basically saying that learning a different way “joe” does should be punished. As a person with diagnosed ADHD, the fact that having to retake a quiz due to not remembering the first time or even because I was busy with a customer (unrelated to the learning process) makes me furious. I recommend any employer that uses this as a tool to help their employees learn not take the passing percentage score seriously. How can you expect an employee to benefit from this training if “joe verde” punishes them for not learning how he thinks they should learn. Also everything he says is common sense so I recommend you do not waist money

Cons: I've been a fan of Joe Verde Training for several decades and an on and off again customer for as many years. Recently we decided to try Verde again and signed up with what we thought was a month to month contract only to find out that there was an addendum to the contract not attached to the email. I contacted Joe Verde and asked to be released from the contract with a 30-day notice. Jr. Joe stated there was a 45-day cancellation policy, so I gave notice. Shortly after, someone contacted me and said we were on a year contract and couldn't cancel. They then sent an email with a contract that wasn't what we agreed to. The pricing, user number and term were all incorrect. I then emailed the correct contract to them and pointed out their terms of agreement addendum was not part of the email. After a week of discussion they stated our contract was for a year and they wouldn't let us out. Beware of their shady contracting practice and ask to see the terms of agreement addendum.
