Interesting for sure!! I believe being green many a times (especially in affluent areas) is more about a statement than it is about being green. BUT - manufacturers are definitely moving towards greener cars every day!

I couldn't agree more Marc, these vehicles definitley have their niche market and demographic. It seems every OEM has some type of "green" vehicle in production or coming very soon. VW as many already know has been in the diesel market for years and moved to a low-sulfur / clean diesel engine not long ago. Now look to see them move into the hybrid market very soon.
